Genesis 8:15-22, Noah shows us a heart of obedience. Noah waited in the ark even though he knew that the water had dried up, he waited for the command from God telling him to get out of the ark along with the animals with him. And as far as the obedience of Noah is concerned, we are told that he did everything that God commanded him to do and he did just so. After he had come out of the ark, he built an altar and offered up a sacrifice to God thanking him for the salvation. When God smelled the aroma of the sacrifice, he was pleased. As true christians we need to show gratefulness and respect to God as way of thanking him for the salvation we have in Christ Jesus. Noah built an altar and offer a sacrifice to God, while as we need to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice and he will be pleased with us.
